Noga Residence is the only flat roof design of the West Salem Modern homes. Located on a narrow lot, this two-story home is tucked along the north bounding line, while its garage runs along the south. The entry roof is formed from a band of metal panels which create a divide between the brick and cedar siding. Visual connectivity between the cedar siding and the concrete walkway is established with a low board-form concrete wall running along the entry. Once inside, the plan is oriented with the double-height public quarters located in the back of the home, and the master bedroom along the front, with two more bedrooms and a cozy lofted study on the second story. With sliding doors beside the cedar covered fireplace activity can spill out onto the back patio, and even on to the rooftop patio via ships ladder.
